Whatever you want to do, you can do it in Scotland!

When enjoying the outdoors please be responsible and check the Scottish Outdoor Access Code before you go.

You can enjoy many of the following activities locally.................................

Walking along rivers and through forests. There are many walks starting from our gate which have varying degrees of difficulty and length and most are dog friendly. We are on the Great Glen Way opposite the Inchnacardoch Forest section. If you don't fancy traveling the whole length of the Great Glen on foot, why not just walk a small section? The views are worth it.

Cycling through pretty villages, along quiet roads or look out for Sustrans National Cycle Network Route 78 which leads from Campbeltown to Inverness via Fort Augustus.

Mountain Biking with specialist trails and bike skills areas nearby.

Water sports including canoeingsailing or boating. A useful document to download produced by the Scottish Canoe Association is the Canoe Trail Guide to the Great Glen.

Others include: Motorcycling, Fishing, Golf, Horse Riding and Trekking, Loch Ness Cruises, Nessie Spotting, Photography, Orienteering, Whisky Distillery Visits, Discovering Scottish History and Heritage or Myths and Traditions, Highland Games, Shopping, Scottish Food, Bird and Wildlife Watching....

Whatever your reason for coming to Scotland we are sure you will find another reason to come back.

If you need any help arranging outdoor activities then get in touch as we can usually put you in touch with the best local provider. Activities including Canoeing, Boat Trips, White Water Rafting etc.
